The Festival featured a wide range of talks and workshops on subjects as varied as 'Training computers to understand music', 'Tattoos for time travellers' or 'Using mobile phones to diagnose Parkinson's'.

As well as attending the Festival Darren wrote a blog for the British Science Association website on the subject of carbon capture and climate change.
