Complete beginners, experienced meditators, staff and students, all are welcome, just turn up!
Mindfulness of breathing is a traditional Buddhist meditation practice. Through its regular practice, our minds can experience greater states of calm ('samatha') and a sense of freedom in daily life. Individual and group instruction in this practice is given by The Samatha Trust.
There is no charge.
The class runs every Tuesday at 7.30pm, if you are a beginner (you'll be finished by 8pm). You may start to attend any week, and it is not a problem if you are unable to attend each week. Complete beginners are very welcome, no previous experience required. You may wish to bring a cushion to sit on.
If you have been to the introductory class before, you are asked to come for the group meditation at 8pm.
The classes take place in room CG2, 115 New Cavendish Street.
