About the symposium

Symposium theme: Climate Finance, Risks and Related Opportunities

One of the fastest-growing segments of the asset management sector is the environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing segment. According to Bloomberg estimates, investments in ESG assets may reach $53 trillion by 2025 which represents a third of the global assets under management (AUM).

Climate finance has attracted attention from investors, regulators, fund managers, businesses, corporations, financial services and accounting bodies. The symposium will examine a wide range of key finance, data analytics and accounting topics, ranging from sustainable investments, asset pricing, corporate finance, financial econometrics, forecasting, fund management, market sentiment, sustainable development, thematic investing, financial reporting, accounting standards, taxation to big data and data analytics.
