As part of London Tech Week, the University of Westminster’s Faculty of Science and Technology held their annual Enterprise Day Event at Cavendish Campus on 20 June 2016, where participants explored ‘partnerships and innovation’ taking place in the Faculty through a series of insightful lectures, talks, networking opportunities and poster presentations.

London Tech Week is a festival of events occurring across the capital that represents the entire technology ecosystem.

The evening was attended by a diverse range of delegates from multiple business sectors, who participated in a series of tailored sessions covering topics including biotechnology and industry, mind, work and wellbeing, analytics in action and supercomputers, the shape of things to come.

The event concluded with a buzzing networking ‘marketplace’ allowing guests to relax, mingle and enjoy canapés, snacks and other refreshments.

Professor Thierry Chaussalet, Director for Business Development in the Faculty of Science and Technology, said: “Several industry delegates have commented on the diversity and quality of the work done in the Faculty and have already expressed interest in partnering with us. Delegates were also very impressed by the projects our students had undertaken. Whether for student internships or project placements, bespoke training, knowledge transfer partnerships, consultancy or contract research, we are open for business.”
