Date/time: 25 November 2013, 1-2pm
Venue: Cayley Lecture Theatre, Marylebone Campus

All students at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment are invited and encouraged to attend this event, which gives you an excellent opportunity to develop your understanding of BIM.

The construction industry is increasingly focused on using technology to improve efficiency for contractors, during construction, and clients, during facility operation. Crossrail has risen to the challenge and is one of the first UK projects to implement the use of technology on a significant scale.

The BIM manager from the Paddington Crossrail project will attend the event to talk about the challenges and benefits associated with implementing technology to support the project process.

The event is open to all students in FABE and no booking is necessary - just turn up.

The event has been organised by the Construction Society in collaboration with BECI.
