The NSS survey results reflect increases in student satisfaction across a range of courses at Westminster Business School, where the top performers are Finance BSc Honours (89%), Accounting BSc Honours (85%) and Business Management with Entrepreneurship BA Honours (95%).
Improving the student experience is high on the agenda for all staff working at Westminster Business School. The NSS survey results indicate that different initiatives to improve the student experience within the School over the last year have been effective. This includes work on improving feedback to our students, resulting in a shorter return time on coursework - in turn enabling students to get the most out of their studies.
Danny Lowney, a Business Management with Entrepreneurship BA Honours student, said:
“I’ve really enjoyed this course because it gives me autonomy over my learning and how I spend my time. Everyone learns differently, and I really value this approach and the independence and focus it gives me. This campus is always open and in the centre of London, so if you need it, it’s here and easy to get to.”
Another aspect of studying at Westminster Business School valued by Finance and Accounting students is the access they have to the Bloomberg Financial Markets Suite. Finance student Shrey Jain says:
“Westminster Business School is amongst a handful of schools in Europe that provide students with a real life working atmosphere by way of delivering several key modules on Bloomberg platforms. The Financial Markets Suite, a simulated trading room with over 20 Bloomberg terminals, is testimony to the fact that the university believes in investing back in students and enhancing their learning experience.”
The University of Westminster is the most diverse university in the UK and one of the top hundred most international institutions in the world.
