The 2013 Mayor of London, in partnership with Siemens, is looking for innovative ideas from London's students to help slash London's CO2 emissions by 60 per cent by 2025.

Climate change is the biggest threat to our future and poses a huge challenge for London. That's why we must act now to reduce our emissions and adapt to the changes that climate change will bring.

The Mayor’s Low Carbon Prize is now open to all students of London universities and colleges.

The £20k development prize fund will help winners turn their innovative low carbon solution from idea to reality – with last year’s winner expected to take their Vibrant Living key to market later this year.

Twenty shortlisted applicants will also be considered for a paid internship at Siemens. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain industry experience and launch your graduate career.

The closing date for submitting your entry is midday 17 May 2013. See more information about the competition and details on how to enter.
