Dr Morady is the course leader for Development Studies and is actively involved in supporting students at all levels within the department.
Farhang has played a key role in the internationalisation of the curriculum within Politics and International Relations. In particular, he has led a team of students to Istanbul and Turkey each year to encourage them to think about development and international political economy in an applied setting.
Farhang has also mentored and supported students involved in Westminster's International Community Project. This project encourages students to develop their research skills by engaging with London’s diverse social, political and cultural communities.
Professor Roland Dannreuther, congratulating Dr Morady on his achievements, says that “Farhang has worked to create such a positive learning environment for students in Politics and International Relations. Many students know that they can rely upon Farhang for academic and professional guidance. As a colleague, I’m impressed with his dedication to students and I’m not surprised that he has won this award given this dedication.”
