December and January news from the Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture.

December and January were relatively quiet months while we arranged events for later in the year and made some improvements to our website. For example, see our new Directors’ Cuts section, with videos and other material from past events.

In other news, Paresh Kathrani’s work on Law and Artificial Intelligence was showcased in the Law Society Gazette and Danny Nicol continued his work on the Politics and Law of Doctor Who with a new blog post.

Finally, Guy Osborn was delighted to introduce the inaugural lecture of Professor Mark James to mark the launch of the Manchester Centre for Law in Society. Mark James is also an Associate Fellow of our own centre.
