This year’s CSD Encounter will focus on the work of the political theorist James Tully, Distinguished Professor of Political Science, Law, Indigenous Governance and Philosophy at the University of Victoria.

Tully is celebrated for his work on struggles over recognition and dialogical constitutionalism and more recently civic freedom.

The Encounter will begin at 11pm, with two round tables on Tully’s work, with contributions from Hans Lindahl, David Owen, Paulina Tambakaki, Mathias Thaler, Mark Wenman and Manon Westphal. James Tully will deliver a public lecture, ‘On Civic Freedom’ at 5pm. More details to follow on the CSD Events page.
