There will be a drop-in session for students who have come from a care background on 27 October between 1 and 2pm at Cavendish Campus.

The University of Westminster offers a support package to students who come from a care background. Most students from a care background will have ticked the box on the UCAS form to identify themselves before coming to university but it is possible that you may not have done this and you may be eligible for the support package that the University offers.

Download a leaflet detailing the package of support (PDF, 1.5MB).

If you have any queries, or if you are wondering if you are eligible for support, please contact Sue Line, Care Leaver Co-ordinator, on 0207 911 5000 x66899, or by email at [email protected]. You can also contact Anne McGrath, Care Leaver Adviser, on 020 7911 5000 x66080, or at [email protected].

There is specific funding, the Care Leaver Bursary, which is worth £750 annually for Care Leaver students. To apply for this please contact [email protected] or call 020 7911 5719.

There will be a drop-in session specifically for care leaver students in the foyer of the Cavendish Campus at 115 New Cavendish Street on Monday 27 October between 1 and 2pm. You will have the chance to meet Sue Line, the Care Leaver Co-ordinator and Anne McGrath, the Care Leaver Adviser, and ask them about any issues or queries you may have regarding the support on offer at Westminster.
