Daniel Anon, Building Surveying BSc Honours alumnus, has been named as the 2017 LABC Trainee of the Year.

The award is presented each year to the trainee who best exemplifies achievement and a commitment to public sector building control and a public service ethos. 

Daniel is a second-year part-time student on the Building Surveying BSc Honours course. He is a trainee building control surveyor with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

LABC is the national representative body for local authority building control.

Daniel was presented with his award by outgoing president of the LABC, Richard Scott, on 3 October 2017.

Huge congratulations to Daniel from all at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment for a well-deserved win!
