Hannah Cross' book, Migrants, Borders and Global Capitalism: West African Labour Mobility and EU Borders has been reissued in paperback by Routledge.

On 29 November, she relaunched it in a panel session with Don Flynn, Director of Migrants' Rights Network, at Kingston University.

This was part of a week-long public event titled 'Race and Ethnicity Matters'.

Her talk outlined the contradictory economic and political agendas that create and constrain labour migration into a regime of unfree labour mobility. This was followed by a discussion on the political economy of migration and the links between research and activism.
