A roundtable discussion on ‘What does the past tell us about the future of the oil, gas and minerals industries?’ will take place at Chatham House (Royal Institute of International Affairs) to launch the publication of the book Global Resources: Conflict and Cooperation (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013) edited by Roland Dannreuther and Wojciech Ostrowksi.

The speakers are Professor Paul Stevens, Senior Research Fellow in Energy, Environment and Resources at Chatham House, Giacomo Luciani, Scientific Director of the Master in International Energy of the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences-Po, and David Humphreys, independent consultant and previously Chief Economist at Rio Tinto and Norilsk Nickel.
