Sally Anne Gross and Dr George Musgrave from the University of Westminster's music think tank MusicTank released new research findings into the prevalence of anxiety and depression in musicians. 

Reported on BBC Breakfast news, Music Tank's survey suggests that "more than 70 per cent of professional musicians suffer from anxiety and that figure is almost repeated when it comes to depression."

71.1 per cent of participants had experienced anxiety and panic attacks, while 68.5 per cent experience depression.
