Pictured are Westminster's new Visiting Professor in History, Baroness Diane Hayter of Kentish Town, and third-year History undergraduate, Peter Haggett. Professor Hayter had just given her inaugural lecture entitled 'So who hears the consumer voice? Users, the law and regulation.'

Peter had the chance to work with Professor Hayter on an internship and as a research assistant in the House of Lords. He said: "My time with Professor Hayter was both hugely fascinating and constantly enjoyable. I worked on everything from financial regulation to libel reform, and all the while experiencing life in one of our most renowned institutions. I have no doubt that this has helped make me a more professional and effective person and will prove to be a valuable experience in more ways than I ever could know." Peter expressed his gratitude to Professor Hayter and to Westminster’s Dr Helen Glew who helped facilitate his placement.
