The new IT management system will enable us to manage our print and electronic resources together. These backroom improvements mean that:
- we can more accurately report on spend and usage of library resources to inform value for money decisions
- there will be efficiencies in our procurement and acquisitions processes
- we will be able to provide faculties with detailed analytics for the first time
As part of this changeover any data currently held in the Library Search e-shelf, will not be transferred automatically.
