In June 2017 the library will be switching to a new improved IT management system, during this switch your e-shelf will be refreshed. To keep your basket records please back up by the end of May 2017.

The new IT management system will enable us to manage our print and electronic resources together. These backroom improvements mean that:

  • we can more accurately report on spend and usage of library resources to inform value for money decisions
  • there will be efficiencies in our procurement and acquisitions processes
  • we will be able to provide faculties with detailed analytics for the first time

As part of this changeover any data currently held in the Library Search e-shelf, will not be transferred automatically.
