Talita Jenman, a recent graduate of the Art and Visual Culture MA at the Department of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies will be giving a lunchtime talk on memes and classical paintings  at the National Gallery on Monday 26 June.

Based on Talita’s dissertation research, the talk will explore ways in which digital culture affects how paintings are experienced, and will ask questions about the relationship between classical paintings and memes. 

The talk is free and open to all. No booking is necessary.
