The scholarships are open to candidates with a Home fee status, who are full-time for three years. They include an annual stipend of £16,000 and a Home fee waiver starting in September 2017. As part of the scholarship, candidates will be required to undertake up to six hours teaching per week.
Applicants who wish to study at the Centre for the Study of Democracy are welcome. Potential projects should fit within one or more of CSD's research themes. Candidates should follow the normal application process, marking their applications 'Quintin Hogg Trust Studentships'. Deadline for applications is 5pm on 10 February 2017.
The scholarships will be awarded to candidates:
- with an outstanding record of academic achievement
- whose proposals indicate excellent projects of great originality
- whose proposals fit with and promise to enhance our research culture
