Following her sustainable capsule collection with Browns, Ahluwalia has continued to fuse sportswear with formal tailoring to create her AW20 collection, inspired by a multicultural interpretation of the 1960s using an earthy colour palette of browns, orange and beige.

Conscious efforts to create sustainable fashion are at the heart of Ahluwalia Studio’s values, with the collection continuing to use old and leftover materials from past projects; while all new materials used were recycled. The new AW20 collection also uses new techniques such as lasers to create patterns on the garments.

The collection shown at London Fashion Week Men’s also features partnerships with Adidas and Clarks. The designs used archival fabrics from Adidas and customised their Superstar trainers, and also tailored Clarks’ Wallabees shoes and desert boots.

Ahluwalia Studio’s AW20 collection also featured at the London Show Rooms at Paris Fashion Week Men’s which took place between 16 and 21 January. The show rooms were created by the British Fashion Council in 2008 to showcase emerging British fashion designers during Paris fashion weeks.
