Due to summer improvement works, levels three and four of Cavendish Library will be closed for at least four weeks between 13 July and the end of August.

Level five will remain open during this period and will be accessible via an alternative entrance that will be signposted from Cavendish reception.

The majority of the book collection will be unavailable during this period but borrowing limits have been lifted and users are encouraged to take out as many items as they need prior to the closure. We may also be able to purchase an electronic version of any titles urgently required during the closure – please contact us via the Ask-a-Librarian service to find out more or telephone +44 (0) 203 506 4050 or 4051.

An enquiry service will be available on level five for item returns and Library support. Printing and photocopying services will also be available.

Library users are reminded that the University is part of the SCONUL Access Scheme which entitles them to access other university libraries. Further information can be found on the SCONUL website.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period and ask you to bear with us whilst we work to improve your study environment.
