On 10 November the University of Westminster's music business development network, MusicTank, is coming together with industry experts to debate digital rights and how much performers are paid for online streaming.

More than 1 trillion songs, movies and TV series were streamed online in the first half of 2015 – more than double the amount in 2014 – but artists and performers have received significantly lower royalties from streaming services compared to traditional broadcasts and sales of recordings.

On 10 November the University of Westminster's music business development network, MusicTank, is coming together with industry experts to debate this pressing legal issue within the music industry, looking at the evolution of communication rights and the impact of streaming on artists’ and performers’ remuneration.
