12.30pm: Using online resources to prepare for job applications and interviews. In this session you will learn how to use online resources available to you at the University to find potential employers, research companies, and keep up-to-date with industry news.
1pm: Manage your online reputation. Frances Gow from the University of Westminster Career Development Centre talks about why it is so important for your future career to manage your online identity and how you can make improvements.
1.30pm: Learning from media change. What skills are needed in this age of new media technology? Journalism lecturer Jim McClellan shares his views on digital literacy and what we’ve learnt from the media
2pm: Close and refreshments.
