Data is to BIM what fuel is to car. You can have effective processes and procedures, what poor data in will mean poor data out. Poor data management is a hidden cost that can lead to significant wasted effort. This is the fifth out of seven events on the implementation of BIM and focuses on the basics of good data management.

At the end of the event you should understand the importance of establish the correct data protocols for generating information, how and when to extract data. If you are primarily a recipient of data, what criteria you can should use to assess the quality of data.
