A one-day research conference in Linguistics - A forum for researchers concerned with aspects of multilingualism to compare findings on and exchange analyses of different settings, and in so doing contributing to theory-building in the field. Confirmed speakers include:

Professor Tope Omoniyi (University of Roehampton): "Writing in Englishes."
Dr Shihan De Silva Jayasuriya (ICS, University of London): "Language Maintenance and Loss among Afro-Asians in South Asia."
Dr Dawn Marley (University of Surrey) : "The changing role of French in Morocco: maintenance or shift?"
Registration will open at 0900 for a 0945 start.
