To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of Derrida’s seminal Of Grammatology, The Westminster Law & Theory Lab is organising a dedicated reading of the work. In ten weekly sessions starting 11 October, his notions of deconstruction, différance, trace, supplement and metaphor that transformed not only philosophical discourse - but the whole landscape of humanities - will be explored. This is an intermediate/advanced level course and active participation is desired.

Convenor: Dr Georgios Tsagdis, Fellow of The Westminster Law & Theory Lab.
Georgios Tsagdis works at theoretical and disciplinary intersections. His PhD The Archeology of Nothing, a project of fundamental ontology, is to be published with Edinburgh University Press. His new project focuses on the ontology of matter from Plato to New Materialisms.

Register to attend via Eventbrite.

Cost: Free to University of Westminster Staff and Students, otherwise £120 for the ten sessions.
