Cultures of Fear: Art, Literature and Popular Culture in the Age of Trump aims to critically address the social, economic and political contexts of Donald Trump's presidency through the lens of contemporary art, literature and popular culture.
It has been organised for the Literary and Cultural Studies suite of MA courses in the Department of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies (including Art and Visual Culture MA, Cultural and Critical Studies MA, English Literature: Modern and Contemporary Fictions MA, and Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture MA).
This event will involve a roundtable discussion with students and teaching teams on those courses, including John Beck, Lucy Bond, Matthew Charles, Georgina Colby, David Cunningham, Sara Dominici, Peter Ride, Elinor Taylor and others.
Staff, students and external guests are very welcome to attend and participate.
