The circular economy is a conceptualisation of a society in which materials are treated as useful or valuable for as long as possible and the production of waste minimised. It moves away from the idea of the traditional linear economy in which waste is discarded into the environment.
This interdisciplinary workshop explores the circular or zero waste economy as an opportunity to realise creative potential of waste, through the interrelationship between law, economics and the wider environment - and how it gives "power" or "agency" to human beings and organisations.
