eCareersGrad

For a trial period, we are enabling Westminster students to make use of an innovative new careers platform called eCareersGrad. The platform helps international students to target the most likely UK employers who sponsor international workers, as well as providing advice and guidance on improving your interview technique.

Sign up and try eCareersGrad with your Westminster email address before the end of December 2023.

If you would like to provide feedback on how useful this platform is to you, please email [email protected] to let us know.

UK Career Ready Programme

This free online on-demand programme offers material on a broad range of topics, some of which you may wish to explore in more detail than others. There are seven mini-modules of material available covering the following areas:

  • Understanding your skills

  • Navigating careers support in the UK
  • Looking for work and applying for jobs
  • The power of networking
  • Enterprise and entrepreneurship
  • Insight into the world of work

Student Circus

This resource is for students looking for opportunities from visa-sponsoring UK employers. It also provides advice and information for international students.

Sign up to Student Circus with your Westminster email address.

CareerSet

CareerSet is designed to help you improve your applications at any time of day or night. It enables you to upload your CV (or covering letter for a limited time), and get AI-generated feedback that should guide you to make improvements. The aim isn’t to score 100, but to take on board the feedback most relevant to you, perhaps having an appointment with one of the careers team afterwards.

Access CareerSet by logging with your Westminster email address.

Please note that all these platforms are external, we therefore advise you to check their privacy notice before signing up.

All the listed resources and many more can be found via Engage.
