Wesak, also known as Buddha Day, commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and passing of the Buddha. This year, we're celebrating it the Tibetan way, with enriching activities and cultural experiences as part of the World in Westminster.
The World in Westminster series is part of the QWestminster Programme for Enhancing Inclusion, Belonging, and Sustainable Development led by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Dibyesh Anand.
The World in Westminster Festival series is currently running for the fourth year. We have run brilliant and inclusive festival events, including Diwali, Chanukah, Yalda Night, Nowruz, Ramadan, Passover and Lunar New Year.
