World in Westminster Conversations: Importance and Challenges of visibility in EDI space

Date 19 November 2025
Time 3 - 5pm
Location Cavendish Campus
Cost Free

In today’s climate of unease and nervousness, activism and advocacy take many different forms. Visibility in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) space is vital, not only for representation but also for creating meaningful change.

This event will bring together a panel of speakers to explore what visibility means, why it matters, and how it can be sustained in challenging times. We want to encourage candid and open discussion, offering a space where dissonance can be acknowledged and constructive discourse can take place.

Join us for an honest conversation about the importance of being seen, heard, and recognised within our communities, institutions, and wider society. This is a space for everyone - whether you are directly engaged in EDI work, an ally, or simply curious about how activism can look in different forms.

This event is open to University of Westminster colleagues and students only.

The link to the event will be sent to attendees after registration, closer to the date of the event.
