About this event

Come and join us for a range of lunchtime gigs, workshops, music lessons and more.

  • Monday 20 November, 12.00pm-1.15pm. A lunchtime gig with the brilliant Joanna Griggs and Tom Poslett! Guitarist Tom Poslett’s songs date back to his roots on the Bristol folk scene. In recent years, he and vocalist Jo Griggs have formed a unique partnership to become a writing / performing duo on the London scene and beyond, combining Tom’s accomplished guitar style and lyrical, quirky storytelling with Jo’s soulful vocals
  • Monday 27 November (Details coming soon)
  • Monday 4 December, Join songwriter Ian Bennett for an hour of London/city-themed songs, including a fun and collaborative group lyric-writing session. Materials will be provided.
  • Monday 11 December, 12pm-1.30pm. Nick Cave Day! On 11 December 1981 Nick Cave’s post-punk band The Birthday Party played at the University of Westminster. Come and celebrate this at the Soho Poly, where we disrupt time and space with our latest ‘Ghost Gig’. We’ll be playing Birthday Party tracks from the period (and maybe even a special University of Westminster bootleg!). Some live acoustic treats too. This is a gothic Christmas delight you won’t want to miss. For info on previous Ghost Gigs see here
