Exploring Gender Equality in Britain's Technology Sector: Join our panel of visionary leaders for insights and inspiration.

Gender equality continues to be a persistent challenge in Britain’s technology sector. Talented women are often sidelined when it comes to professional advancement opportunities, they regularly get overlooked for the most challenging programmes of work, and they are sometimes rewarded less generously than their male peers are.

Despite industry efforts to promote greater equality and inclusion, the number of women in the sector remains low. Just 21% of IT professionals and 12.5% of engineers identify as women, and alarmingly the gender gap is projected to widen in some specialist technical disciplines.

So what does the journey towards gender equality look like in the digital industry?

Netcompany - a key partner of the University of Westminster and member of the Chancellor’s Circle – will be hosting this question to a panel of some of the industry’s most influential and visionary technology leaders. At the end of the session, you’ll understand what the tech sector means for women, what the direction of travel is, and what it really means to ‘embrace equity’.

Don't miss out on this extraordinary chance to connect with a remarkable cohort of women in leadership and learn about their journeys in the technology industry. Join us and gain insights on how they entered, remained, thrived, and led in the world of technology.

Panellists include Rituja Ravikiran Rao, Senior Enterprise Project Manager at Deliveroo and University of Westminster alumna.

Please note that tickets will be given out on a first come, first served basis due to the venue capacity.
