About National Student Pride

National Student Pride is the UK’s biggest LGBTQ+ student event held across many sites, including the University of Westminster's Marylebone campus. Made for students, run by students, and supported by an incredible group of volunteers from our LGBTQIA+ student societies committed to improving the queer student experience across the UK.

Every year, we come together with LGBTQIA+ proactive employers, hosting the UK’s largest LGBTQ+ careers fair, Student Pride Awards, performances and much more.

This event is open to all students.

The event programme

The weekend will include a festival of talks, music, workshops, parties, and a celebration of our authentic selves including:

  • Friday evening: Student Pride Awards, performances and partying:

The evening will feature the Student Pride Awards, celebrating the achievements and recognising the successes of queer students from across the UK. Apply to the Awards now to gain recognition for the difference you’re making in shaping a better future for LGBTQ+ communities.

  • Saturday daytime: performances, careers fair, community marketplace, panel discussions:

Taking place at Marylebone campus, the event will host the UK's largest diversity careers fair, celebrity interviews, panel discussions, live performances, community marketplace, therapy puppies and so much more.

Daytime tickets are free and provide access to all the above activities.
