Autumn Gardening at Marylebone Growing Space

Date 1 October 2025
Time 12 - 1pm
Location Marylebone Campus
Cost Free

As the seasons shift, the gardening group will be preparing the space for autumn planting and harvesting the last of the summer crops. This year’s gardening efforts include tomatoes, corn, squash, and artichokes - some of which may still be available to harvest. Any attendees are welcome to take home produce, so come along and get involved.

Urban growing is a great way to celebrate biodiversity in central London, while taking time out for a breather. The growing spaces at Marylebone and Harrow are open to all Westminster students and colleagues, and we encourage anyone visiting the spaces to water or tend to the plants whenever they have a moment to spare.

These informal sessions support biodiversity on campus and align with Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.
