The gardening session is open to students and colleagues of any skill level.
About this event
In this session, we will be sowing seeds for herbs, spring vegetables and flowering plants. We will be refreshing the beds and giving our planters some much needed love before the start of Summer.
Our growing spaces across campus are free for anyone to use and enjoy. We aim to encourage biodiversity on campus by planting pollinator-friendly plants and encouraging growth of greenery, to help urban drainage.
This session coincides with Earth Day, a global moment dedicated to protecting the planet and championing environmental action. Earth Day is a great opportunity to get involved in practical, local sustainability efforts that contribute to a greater cause.
