Network for Languages London
Network for Languages London is located in the Westminster Professional Language Centre at the University of Westminster, Regent Street. With access to a range of well-equipped classrooms Network for Languages London is pleased to run a number of courses and host informative events.
Network for Languages London provides professional development courses for teachers of languages in primary and secondary schools. Our courses are offered as full-day and twilight sessions at affordable prices. In addition, Network for Languages London is able to offer bespoke training for your school and tailor our courses to suit your needs. All our courses are designed to offer access to the very best CPD for colleagues in the languages community across the London region. The Network for Languages London courses address key priorities for languages across the primary and secondary key stages in an imaginative and innovative way.
Since April 2011 we have built on the momentum gained during our time as Links into Languages London. We are delighted to offer a full programme of courses and events for teachers here at the University of Westminster.
Over the past year our courses have helped teachers to:
- Develop strategies for a smoother transition from primary to secondary schools;
- Support those new or aspiring to leadership roles;
- Address key areas raised by Ofsted, such as use of target language in the classroom and making use of authentic resources; and helped schools prepare for the Ebacc.
Most importantly the courses have been a great way for teachers to network and share ideas with colleagues from other schools.
