The Westminster Working Cultures (WWC) Ambassador programme is a three-month voluntary career development role for past WWC participants to enhance their professional skills, gain valuable work experience and give back to WWC.
What does a WWC Ambassador do?
As a WWC Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for representing the programme to Westminster students. With previous experience on the programme, you’ll be uniquely qualified to share your knowledge and the programme’s benefits with prospective WWC participants. You'll also get the opportunity to undertake exciting and varied work experience, putting into practice the skills and confidence you built during your time with WWC. We'll provide support and training, so you feel prepared and gain valuable personal and professional development.
You'll complete a number of activities as a WWC ambassador, such as:
- providing video and written content for the website and social media to advertise the programme, such as quotes, blog posts and interviews
- speaking about your unique experience to promote the programme at events, classroom visits, lectures, fairs, etc
- supporting with ad hoc projects as opportunities become available throughout your three-month role
- working collaboratively on projects with other WWC Ambassadors
