We offer a wide and varied programme which consists of:

Supervisor Forum Sessions: these are tailored to meet the needs of new and experienced supervisors.

Strategic Development Seminars: an opportunity for staff to meet over lunch and explore a topical theme, idea or initiative related to research in HE.

Lunchtime workshops: these informal and interactive lunchtime sessions are for staff and doctoral researchers. Invited speakers lead discussions and participants share best practice and questions on research related activities.

Annual Reception: this is the highlight of our annual events programme. It brings together doctoral researchers, staff and external guests to celebrate the achievements of our doctoral researchers, showcasing a selection of the innovative research projects being undertaken at the University. You can view images and booklets from previous years via the left-hand menu options.

Annual Lecture: all are welcome to attend and hear an engaging, topical lecture by an invited, external speaker. In 2015 we explored the importance of public engagement for researchers.

This year's lecture takes place on 6 December 2016 and will be given by Carenza Lewis, Professor for the Public Understanding of Research, University of Lincoln. More information and booking details.
