What's involved
Hear directly from recent graduates as they share their experiences and stories – giving you the chance to explore the breadth of career opportunities available after graduation and pick up practical tips to help you prepare for the world of work.
Events usually take place in the classroom during term time.
During 2024–25, we ran ten events for undergraduate students – bringing together 39 recent graduates with more than 540 students.

- Gain 20 points for the Westminster Award
- If you’re a Level 4 or 5 student, you may be able to earn work-based learning hours
Who it's for
You can take part if you’re a current undergraduate student on a course that has been selected to have a What Comes Next? session.
We embed these events into courses identified for additional careers support, informed by our Graduate Outcomes results.
How to take part
Current students
Your course or module leader will let you know if there’s an upcoming What Comes Next? event you can join and will provide you with a link to book a place.
Recent graduates
If you graduated within the last three years and would like to share your career experiences with students, get in touch by emailing [email protected]Email us about the What comes next? event series.
