Personal tutoring

If you're a full-time student, you will have a personal tutor who will help you settle in to your studies and offer guidance and advice should you encounter any difficulties during your course.

Part-time students who are registered for more than three modules, and who are on a course that lasts more than one year, will also have a personal tutor.

Students with disabilities and long-term health problems

If you have a disability or specific learning difficulty, you may wish to get in touch with your school's Disability Tutor, who can offer you additional support and guidance, and is also a key liaison point between students and the Disability Learning Support team.

Students with long-term mental health problems will also find extra support in the form of our mental health mentoring service.

Students who have been in care

If you've come to the University from care, get in touch with our Care Leaver Co-ordinator or Care Leaver Adviser to find out what additional help you could receive.
