To apply for one of our postgraduate courses, simply find or browse courses using our course search and click on the Apply link at the top of the course page.
Applications are made via the UCAS Postgraduate (UKPASS) website and are free of charge. You can check the progress of your application online and you can also make multiple applications.
Students applying from outside the UK: If you’re applying from outside the UK, we may have a representative in your country who can guide you through this application process. Check our list of country representatives.
Students with disabilities: We welcome and encourage applications from students with disabilities and consider all applications on academic grounds. If you have a disability that might affect your studies, let us know when you apply, so that we can assist you wherever possible. You’ll need to include a confidential letter with your application, addressed to the Admissions Officer.
Reviewing your application
In most cases, your candidacy for the course will be based on your application form and reference alone, as there is no guarantee of interview.
Some courses have additional requirements, for example you may need to attend an interview or submit a written assignment. Details of these course-specific requirements are provided on each course page.
When completing the application form, it’s vital that you complete it fully and explain clearly:
- why you wish to enrol on the course
- what relevant experience you have
- why you think you should be given a place
Notifying you of the outcome
You will get an email notification from us when we receive your application and another email when we’ve reviewed your application and made a decision.
To avoid any delays in your application, make sure you submit all the documents requested when completing the application form.
During your application, we’ll keep in touch by email, so check regularly for messages from us.
If you have a query about your application, just get in touch. We have four admissions offices that deal with different courses.
