Created from the Polytechnic of Central London in 1992, the University of Westminster continues the tradition of its founder, Quintin Hogg, by focusing on creating a vibrant learning environment in which to build the next generation of highly employable global citizens who will shape a better future.
Our students form one of the most diverse student populations in the country. We offer opportunities, like our philanthropist founder, to those who have the aspirations and ability to learn and to put their learning into practice in their working lives, whatever their background. However, there is more to be done to ensure that we can continue to offer these opportunities.
In today’s economic climate, your support is as important as ever in helping us to achieve our goals and as a donor, you have a say in how The University spends your contribution. For example, you can make a donation to a specific department or programme, such as our Scholarship Programme, a particular field of research like that taking place at the University’s Against Breast Cancer Unit, or a capital project such as the Regent Street Cinema restoration.
We are always grateful for one-off gifts but we also invite you to consider a regular giving plan which helps us to plan in advance which projects we can support each year.
