Business Management (Human Resources Management) BA- 2023

This course was amazing. It was a mix of accounting, marketing, psychology and law.

How has your experience been studying in London?

My experience was amazing. I had my two course leaders Sangeetha Srinivasan and Simon Richardson who have always been here for me. I had many opportunities as well such as completing the Gold and Platinum Westminster Employability award, where I was the top scorer in the Gold category. I have been part of the Student Ambassador and the Becoming a Friend of arriving new Students (FANS) schemes and worked in the HR department (Head of HR) at Westminster Business Consultants.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

This course was amazing. It was a mix of accounting, marketing, psychology and law. I loved psychology modules. Therefore, I have picked Spanish Polylang as optional for two years.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

They were all very supportive. Lecturers would reply to my emails immediately and set up meetings (office hours) to support me and eliminate all my doubts.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

I have been a course rep for 2 years. I have been a student ambassador for almost 3 years and part of FANS programme for 2 years. I have been part of WBC and I am currently the Head of HR department. In addition to winning the WEA gold level award as top scorer I also completed the Platinum level. I will be shadowing Robin Winfield (Operations Director, John Bell & Croyden).
