Enrolment and orientation
What is enrolment?
All students must enrol at the beginning of each academic year. For new students, the enrolment process is in two stages:
- Pre-enrolment: Read our guidance on the process and pre-enrol online.
- Enrolment: You will need to attend an enrolment session at the University, where you will receive your student ID card. Your enrolment and orientation timetable will be available on this webpage – we will email you when it is available.
At your enrolment session, you'll also receive your copy of Essential Westminster 2011/12, the University's student guide, which provides information on the services, support and resources available to you.

What is orientation?
Each course or department organises an orientation session for new students to help them settle in to their course and the University. Class timetables, key support services and University facilities are a few of the topics that will be covered at your orientation session.
