Centre for Capital Punishment Studies

About CCPS

The Centre for Capital Punishment Studies is a project which undertakes numerous pioneering activities within the field of death penalty and penal research, with the overall aim of informing and supporting governmental moves to replace capital punishment with more humane alternatives and to give support for families of homicide victims and the condemned. The CCPS has authored a core document that summarises the important issues that should be considered in any authoritative discourse about capital punishment. Copies of the report are available on line and from the CCPS.
