Microsoft's Azure DevTools enables University of Westminster students to download Microsoft software for free on personal devices, including Visio, Project, Visual Studio, Windows 10 and Windows 11. It also provides access to Azure cloud.

How does it work?

Using your University of Westminster login and password, sign in to the Azure website. From there, you can select the software you'd like and download it to your machine.

Currently, you can only use this to download software to your own personal device. You can't download software on laptops borrowed from the library or on the computers in our teaching labs. All equipment in labs is controlled by IT admin to prevent unauthorised installation of software.
