Entry requirements
MPhil/PhD applicants should normally have:
- A minimum classification of 2.1 in their first degree or equivalent
- And preferably a Masters degree (or Masters degree pending)
- Applicants whose secondary level education has not been conducted in the medium of English should also demonstrate evidence of appropriate English language proficiency, normally defined as:

Please note:
Applicants to the Law School are expected to have passed their LLM or MA with merit or distinction with 65% or above in their dissertation.
Applicants to Westminster Exchange are expected to achieve a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 where appropriate.
