The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is based at the University of Westminster's Regent Street campus in the heart of London.
A group of history students studying the module The Spanish Civil War: Spain in Crisis 1936-39 visited the library of the Instituto Cervantes in London.
The Guardian has announced that a University of Westminster undergraduate student has been shortlisted for the 36th annual Guardian Student Media Awards 2014 in the Feature Writer of the Year category. James Tennent, BA Honours Arabic and Linguistics student, is among the five candidates for the prestigious award who will attend the lavish awards ceremony in London on 27 November.
Dr Gerda Wielander, Head of the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, was interviewed by The Guardian for a feature on language and humour.
On Friday 17 October, the University of Westminster hosted the launch of the French History Network in Fyvie Hall.
The University of Westminster has recently teamed up with the Eliminating Domestic Violence (EDV) Global Foundation in the launch of their new Youth Council project to give young people a platform for social action in their communities.
