The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is based at the University of Westminster's Regent Street campus in the heart of London.
Westminster Professional Language Centre has been awarded €23,000 to participate in an Erasmus+ project with a consortium of universities (Reading, Leipzig, Perugia, Siena), Cultural Institutes (Spain and Germany) and education ministries (Rioja, Tenerife), under the leadership of the Goethe Institut in London.
Palgrave Macmillan has published Gothic Tourism by Dr Emma McEvoy, Senior Lecturer in English Literature in the Department of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies.
On Saturday 7 November over 300 people participated in a conference at the University of Westminster on ‘Doing and Thinking Democracy Differently’.
A group of undergraduate history students studying the module The Spanish Civil War: Spain in Crisis 1936-39 visited the Queen Sofia Library at the Instituto Cervantes in London.
The Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR) held the workshop on 30 October 2015 in response to the ongoing crises of identity at the borders of Europe. The event brought together established and emerging academics to engage in a conversation on how identity is forged out of experiences of place and displacement.
