How to submit a paper
Submissions for the second edition of the Westminster Law Review (WLR) are now being accepted. Interested authors are encouraged to submit their work.
Please submit an abstract (summary or overview) of your article by 30 April 2012 to
[email protected], for review by the editors. You will be notified by the end of May whether we would like to see a completed first draft of the article; please submit this by 15 July.
The Editorial Board will be accepting submissions from recently graduated and current undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students of any subject from any university. The subject of the feature should focus on an aspect of law, regulation or policy from any perspective. Submissions should be between 5000 – 10,000 words (including footnotes).
Please also ensure that each footnote conforms to OSCOLA citation standards, and all articles are written in Calibri font size 11. In addition, authors should use multiple line spacing at 1.15. We encourage subheadings to break up the text but please stick to one level (i.e. main title of article and heading of each section). Tables and graphics are welcome if
they illustrate a particular point.
We hope to respond within 2 weeks after final deadline with feedback as to any changes to be made, with a view to publication of the second issue at the end of September 2012.
Articles selected for publication will be edited with the assistance of an academic in the field of study and the author.
